The structure and working principle of wind turbine:

Wind power generator is a power equipment that converts wind energy into mechanical power, which drives the rotor to rotate and eventually outputs alternating current. Wind turbines are generally composed of wind turbines, generators (including devices), directional regulators (tail wings), towers, speed-limiting safety mechanisms and energy storage devices.

The working principle of wind turbine is relatively simple. The wind wheel rotates under the action of wind force. It transforms the kinetic energy of wind into the mechanical energy of the wind wheel axle. The generator generates electricity by rotating driven by the wind wheel axle. Broadly speaking, wind energy is also solar energy, so it can also be said that wind turbine is a kind of generator which uses solar energy as heat source and atmosphere as working medium.

In 2018, 20.59 million kilowatts of wind power were added to the grid and maintained a steady growth momentum. According to the regional distribution, the central and southern regions account for about 47%, and the layout of wind power development is further optimized. By the end of 2018, 184 million kilowatts of wind power will be installed nationwide. According to regional distribution, 27.9% of wind power will be installed in the central and southern regions, and 72.1% in the "Three North" regions. By the end of 2018, the top ten wind power installed provinces in China are Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Hebei, Gansu, Shandong, Shanxi, Ningxia, Jiangsu, Yunnan and Liaoning.

In the application of high-power wind power inverters with new energy sources, thin film capacitors have absolute advantages over electrolytic capacitors due to the requirement of long life or thousands of volts withstand voltage. The demand for thin film capacitors in wind power market comes from two parts: one is the demand for thin film capacitors by new installers; the other is the demand for replacement of aluminium electrolytic capacitors by stock. The increase of installed wind power has provided new impetus for the development of thin film capacitor industry.
